It was a beautiful morning. The lake was like glass, I was alone on the lake and with the exception of a few song birds singing, it was absolute silence.<br>So peaceful. Trance-like as I paddled slowly to the far side of the lake where there are no houses, just forested lands.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">And then\u2026..along came one single deer fly. It buzzed around my head. Hitting my head. Relentless buzzing around trying to find a place on me to bite.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I thought, I could start ducking and swinging, trying to swat it &amp; go crazy &#8230;&#8230;.or I could ignore it\u2026\u2026until it landed and swat it and feed it to the fish. The latter is what I did!<br>After that one small bug was gone, the presence of the serene silence and absolute beauty returned.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I thought to myself, how much this bug interaction was like life in general. Many times we let one or two things that happen or what people say disturb our whole experience.<br>The next time there\u2019s a \u2018bug\u2019 in your life \u2026.remember, be patient, swat it out of your mind and move on!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This one morning, I felt as if I was being spoken to\u2026.
